a retail brand specializing in fashion accessories, approached us with the goal of increasing online sales and brand awareness.
Here's a basic wireframe outlining the core functionalities of a travel app:
1. Splash Screen:
Brief company logo and tagline.
Optional: Short animation or image showcasing travel destinations.
2. Home Screen:
Search Bar: Prominent search bar at the top for users to enter destinations, dates, or travel interests.
Trip Inspiration Section: Carousels or cards displaying curated travel suggestions, popular destinations, or themed itineraries based on user preferences (if available).
Quick Access Buttons: Icons for core functionalities like "Flights," "Hotels," "Activities," "Trips" (saved trips section).
3. Search Results (Flights):
Filters along the top to refine results by price, airline, travel time, layovers, etc.
List of flight options with clear information displayed (airline, departure/arrival times, duration, price).
Option to view flight details on a separate screen with additional information (baggage fees, seat selection, etc.)
4. Search Results (Hotels):
Filters along the top to refine results by price, star rating, amenities (pool, spa, wifi), location (city center, beach), etc.
List of hotel options with clear information displayed (hotel name, star rating, price per night, location on a map).
Option to view hotel details on a separate screen with photos, amenities list, guest reviews.
5. Search Results (Activities):
List of activities and attractions with clear information displayed (name, description, price, location on a map).
Option to view activity details on a separate screen with photos, reviews, booking options.
6. Trips Section:
List of saved trips with basic information displayed (destination, dates, itinerary outline).
Option to view a detailed trip itinerary within each saved trip, including booked flights, hotels, activities, notes, etc. (can be further expanded upon).
7. Profile Section:
User profile information (name, email address).
Travel preferences (if applicable).
Payment information (securely stored).
Booking history with past trips and upcoming reservations.
Settings and logout options.
Additional Considerations:
Bottom Navigation Bar: This can be an alternative to quick access buttons on the home screen, providing persistent navigation options throughout the app.
Star Ratings & User Reviews: Integrate user-generated ratings and reviews for flights, hotels, and activities to enhance user trust and decision-making.
Chat Functionality: Consider incorporating an in-app chat option for users to connect with customer service or local vendors.
